1. Go to Products> Add New.

  2. Enter a product title in the box named Product name (we suggest putting the building size and type of building, ex: 10x16 Lofted Barn) and a description in the next box below the title. For the description, we suggest you look at the currently listed buildings and follow a similar format. Using a similar format makes it easier for customers to find products they are looking for.

  3. Skip the WP User Manager - Content Restriction and Oxygen meta box.
  4. Go to the Product Data meta box (scroll down on the page), and make sure Simple product is selected. You will want to go to the General and Attributes tabs to fill in information. The Product data meta box is where the majority of important data is added for your product.
    • On the General tab you will want to input the price in the Regular price ($) field.
    • On the Attributes tab, you will select the following items below (in this order) from the drop-down box and click the Add button to the right.
      • Siding Color
      • Roof (we suggest adding "Metal - " or "Shingles - " to the beginning of the color)
      • Trim Color
      • Floor
      • Serial #



    • Once you have added all 5 attributes, you will then proceed to enter the information in the Value(s): box for each attribute. You will notice when you click one the Value(s): box some options already appear to select from. This is because it saves the attribute values used by previous buildings. If the value is there, select it, if not, you can click the Add new button (circled in image below), to enter a new value. Once all attributes are complete, you MUST click on the blue Save attributes button to save your attributes (circled in image below).

  5. Skip the Product short description meta box. Now you will to look on the right-hand side of the page. You will see small meta boxes labeled (top to bottom) Publish, Product categories, Product tags, Product image and Product gallery.

  6. Navigate to the Product categories meta box. Here you will select BOTH the manufacturer of the building and the state it is located in.



  7. Navigate to Product tags meta box. Here you will want to enter TWO of the following tags from below. One for the roof and one for the sides. This will allow your customers to find the building they are looking for quicker. Type the phrase and then press Enter/Return.
    • Painted Sides
    • Metal Sides
    • Metal Roof
    • Shingled Roof
  8. Navigate to Product image meta box. Add a main product image by clicking on Set product image link. You will then select Upload files (if requires a new image) or select the image from the Media Library. If uploading a new image, we suggest naming the image with the serial number of the building first, before uploading. This allows for easy association when looking for uploaded images later.



  9. Once the image is selected, click on the Set product image button in the bottom right-hand corner of the Product image window.

  10. Once all the above is complete, you will navigate back towards the top of the page to the Publish meta box. You will now click on the blue Publish button. This will publish the building to your website. If you want to save your progress, but not make it live on the website, you can click on Save Draft button and it will do just that. When ready to publish it to the website, revisit the building and click on the blue Publish button.
